Working across a variety of projects and customer sites, the position of Operations Supervisor will use construction and on-site experience and skills to plan, execute and supervise the installation of our portable buildings and other temporary facilities whilst working closely with our customers. 

 

As well as providing a high level of customer service, you will: 

 

  • Act as the Coates representative on-site, taking ownership of client solutions and ensuring delivery excellence.
  • Oversee the coordination & installation of our range of specialised products on customer sites
  • Run prestart and toolbox meetings to maintain safety and communication standards.
  • Manage customer site conditions, delays, customer expectations and variances to original quote
  • Demonstrate and promote a Safety-First culture throughout the organisation and all operations
  • Build and develop an efficient and effective installation team
  • Work with Coates branches to organise plant, equipment and resourcing

What you’ll bring to the role

 

  • Strong construction site experience including preparation and management of risk assessments and safe work method statements
  • Experience building relationships with customers and sub-contractors 
  • Experience in managing a team, delegating tasks and personnel supervision to meet project timelines.
  • Basic Computer skills, ability to work on MS Word, Excel.
  • Experience in project management on multiple sites
  • Good planning and team leadership skills with the ability to work autonomously and the possession of excellent problem-solving skills.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • High Risk work licence will be highly regarded for EWP
  • (+11m)/Forklift/Basic Riggers
  • HR Truck License would be beneficial
  • Trade qualifications or equivalent experience
