• Permanent full-time position
• Monday to Friday roster, 7am start
The position of Yardperson at Townsville Portables is a key support role, responsible for the maintenance of the Branch yard area and ensuring the safe loading and unloading of equipment.
As well as providing a high level of customer service, you will also need to:
• Load and unload equipment from vehicles using safe loading and unloading procedures.
• Perform general yard duties, including the cleaning of portable assets and staging of buildings in preparation for hire.
• Maintain facilities to ensure a safe and organised yard.
• Promote a Safety First culture – talk about safety to your colleagues and customers.

What you’ll bring to the role
As well as having experience in a similar role, you will also have the following:
• A current forklift & driver’s license (preferred)
• Portable buildings experience (highly advantageous but not essential)
• A strong knowledge of; and commitment to safety
