Title: Operations Coordinator

• Port Kembla based position
• Warehousing supervisory and/or hire industry experience is highly desirable
• Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will manage the coordination and supply of hire equipment to customers on project sites and shutdowns, to meet customer and project requirements. Exceptional customer service, understanding customer needs, sourcing and organising equipment for customers and adherence to safety standards at all times are some of your key responsibilities.
You’ll enjoy variety in your role including:
• Assigning of tasks to staff in the warehouse
• Arrange rehire of equipment as required for shutdowns
• Deal with enquires from Customer support centre and branches, including sourcing, packing and sending to branches (second function)
• Manage outside repairs, including service jobs and
• Disposal of tools and equipment through RAPID.
• Obtaining quotes for new equipment and raising HFI’s as required
• Regularity inspection of equipment is up to date loaded into Baseplan/Site IQ
• Ensuring slow moving assets are kept to a minimum with rotation of fleet, work with Assist Shutdown Managers on what is a priority to go out first
• Ordering Consumables for shutdowns and in the warehouse

What you’ll bring to the role
• Warehousing supervisory experience
• Hire industry desirable but not essential
• Around 2 years’ experience from a technical or service orientated background and be familiar with a range of plant and equipment.
• Ability to build rapport and good working relationships using strong customer service skills
• Problem solving and conflict resolution skills drawing upon the need to manage your time and demonstrate a knack for organisation
• Demonstrated leadership skills
