As a Plant Mechanic based at the Port Kembla branch, you will assume responsibility for the efficient and effective servicing of our extensive range of hire equipment and machinery.
Your typical day will focus on:
• Diagnosing and repair mechanical faults across a variety of equipment – Generators, Light Towers, Rollers, Excavators, Message Boards, EWP’s and Small Engines
• Maintaining up-to-date service records for all service and repair work
• Minimise operational downtime of equipment
• Promote a Safety First, Zero Harm culture – champion safety with your colleagues and customers.

What you’ll bring to the role
• Relevant trade qualifications
• Troubleshooting, diagnostic, and preventative maintenance skills
• Experience with petrol and diesel motors, hydraulics pneumatics and basic electrical skills
• A forklift ticket (highly regarded)
