Your new role in Parkes awaits:
As a Plant Mechanic you will assume responsibility for the efficient and effective servicing of our extensive range of hire equipment and machinery.
You will also be responsible for:
• Diagnosing and repair mechanical faults across a variety of equipment – work on access, earthmoving, compaction, generators, lighting, traffic management, trucks & vehicles, welders, small tools & equipment and material handling, whilst always ensuring exceptional customer service and a high standard of safety.
• Maintaining up-to-date service records for all service and repair work
• Minimise operational downtime of equipment
• Promote a Safety First, Zero Harm culture – champion safety with your colleagues and customers.
In addition to effective time management, attention to detail and strong commitment to safety you will also need to have:
• Monday to Friday Roster with opportunity for overtime where required.
• Relevant trade qualifications
• Troubleshooting, diagnostic, and preventative maintenance skills
• Experience with petrol and diesel motors, hydraulics pneumatics and basic electrical skills
• A forklift ticket (highly regarded)
