About the role
The position of Yardperson at Coates Moorebank Branch is a key support role responsible for the maintenance of the Branch yard area and ensuring the safe loading and unloading of equipment. You will work with a dedicated team in this busy environment, to ensure the branch yard is always safe, clean, and organised. 


A day in the life of a Coates Yardperson: 
As well as providing a high level of customer service, you will also need to:
•    Load and unload equipment from vehicles using safe loading & unloading procedures.
•    Perform general yard duties, including cleaning of equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and organised yard.
•    Assist with basic service and repair of non-high-risk equipment in a workshop environment
•    Promote a Safety First - Zero Harm safety culture – talk about safety to your colleagues and customers.


Your skills & experience: 
As well as having experience in a similar role, ideally you will have the following: 
•    A current forklift & drivers license.
•    Mechanical aptitude – you enjoy tinkering with equipment and operating in a hands-on environment
•    A strong knowledge of and commitment to safety
