Here’s how you’ll be a part of our team:
We are seeking highly motivated individuals who are able to commit to a full-time 4 year Plant Mechanic apprenticeship in Canberra (Hume), with a “can do attitude”, a strong work ethic, drive to learn and a strong focus on safety.

Working as an apprentice in this trade will include:
•    Working on a huge range of equipment (from chainsaws to 36t excavators )    
•    Assembling and fitting machine parts 
•    Fault finding and resolving mechanical issues
•    Maintenance of equipment including braking and suspension systems
•    Servicing machinery regularly 
•    Performing safety inspections
•    Troubleshooting on hydraulic, electrical & cooling systems
•    Attend safety Toolbox talks and contributing to the team’s safety

Location: 
We have 1 x position at Ingleburn and 1 x position at Moorebank.
 
We are seeking applicants with:
•    Mechanical Aptitude
•    The initiative to work through a problem
•    Ability to communicate professionally with colleagues and managers 
•    An ‘eager to learn’ mentality
•    Flexibility
•    Reliable transportation to and from workshop 

Interviewing will be conducted 10th - 14th February with a start date of 24th February. A Pre-Employment Medical will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
