Based out of our Mildura branch, with regular travel across regional Victoria, you’ll be reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
Each day will include building and nurturing trusted relationships to a client group including small to mid-tier construction and civil companies to provide mutually beneficial outcomes to these customers and Coates.
- Establishing yourself as the lead point of contact for all client matters and developing trusted relationships
- Navigate your way through allocated client organisations and increase awareness of Coates offerings and solutions
- Develop strategies and collaborate with support teams to deliver initiatives that delight customers and support sales growth

What you’ll bring to the role
- Business to business and business to consumer sales experience
- A proactive, self‑motivated mindset and the ability to work autonomously while staying aligned with team goals
- Confident negotiation and influencing skills, supported by 1–2 years in a comparable sales role
- Ability to interpret data, manage your pipeline, and plan strategically
- Excellent organisation and administrative skills, including appointment scheduling, CRM management, and activity tracking
- A relationship‑focused approach and a strong sense of personal brand
- Previous experience in construction or hire is an advantage, but not essential
