This role is responsible for overseeing the efficient delivery of Corporate Accounting services, while supporting the management of corporate cost centres and the capital investment process.

Your role will involve: 

• End to end responsibility for month end processes, including analysis, journals, reconciliations and reporting.
• Lead the preparation and delivery of the half-year and annual statutory financial statements.
• Support the bi-annual parent entity reporting and the external audit activities.
• Management of monthly parent entity reporting through OneStream, including liaison with SGH finance team.
• Provide guidance and expertise to explain compliance with Australian Accounting Standards.
• Review and analysis of investment requests to be tabled at the investment committee.

What you’ll bring to the role

• Qualified accountant- CPA or CA.
• Bachelor’s degree in business and finance.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organisation.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive, collaborative mindset and ownership of end-to-end delivery.
• Adaptable and team-oriented, able to thrive in a dynamic and evolving finance environment.
