Reporting to the Development Manager, you will be leading the design, development and maintenance of high quality, scalable software solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers and stakeholders.

 

The Senior Developer position plays an important part in driving technical excellence, fostering collaboration across teams, and mentoring other developers to build a robust and agile development environment.

 

  • Leading projects technically and providing support to Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet both business and technical objectives
  • Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and optimising application performance, as well as any security vulnerabilities and addressing them in a timely manner
  • Continuously exploring and implementing new technologies, frameworks and patterns, and embedding as standards as required, helping with documentation and education to the team
  • Acting as role model, mentor, and coach for other Developers and guiding them in best practices and design principles

What you’ll bring to the role

  • 5-7 years’ of professional experience in software development
  • Experience in software architecture and design pattern
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
  • Coaching and mentoring other developers and fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both business and IT stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or Computer Science
  • Microsoft Azure certifications
