Our People Services team are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join us!
 

The HR Advisor (internally titled People Advisor) will act as a key support partner in delivering the People agenda across Coates. You will work closely with a variety of leaders to support and coach while driving a people strategy designed to build and maximise our team’s potential and performance. Based in Mascot with a hybrid mix of time in the office and from home, this role will suit an emerging highly talented, driven and commercially astute HR professional looking to make a real impact.


You’ll enjoy variety in your role including:
•    Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on various People related matters, including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and HR policies and procedures. 
•    Act as a point of contact for complex employee case management and provide timely and effective responses. 
•    Coach managers on effective people management practices, including feedback, coaching and performance management. 
•    Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations, and keep up to date with changes to employment legislation.

What you’ll bring to the role
You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills – and can build business relationships with every stakeholder level. You also have experience working within a large, complex organisation and have the emotional intelligence to apply data and patience in providing effective solutions. 
•    Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. 
•    At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment. 
•    Deep knowledge and understanding of modern HR best practices and strong working knowledge of employee and industrial relations frameworks
•    SAP SuccessFactors experience - desirable
