As a Payroll Supervisor at Coates you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll administration and ensuring that our employees are paid accurately and on time. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

 

You’ll enjoy variety in your role including:

  • The supervision and coordination of Coates' standard payroll processing activities.
  • Processing and reviewing payroll for accuracy.
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies and issues.
  • Preparing payroll reports.
  • Collaborating with HR and Finance departments.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).     
  • Proven experience in payroll administration and supervision including STP2, Super and Payroll Tax.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency with payroll software and systems  - Familiarity in using SAP SuccessFactors and Kronos experience will be highly regarded
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
