Based in Mascot and assisting our dedicated payroll team the position of Payroll Administrator is responsible for providing efficient and effective payroll services to our permanent, contract and casual staff, calculate accurate wages and salaries and create and maintain personnel and payroll records in accordance with relevant awards, agreements, and legislation.  The role is also responsible for all administrative duties and key reporting requirements as required.

 

You’ll enjoy variety in your role including:

  • Processing accurate and timely payment of fortnightly and monthly wages
  • Handling the day-to-day payroll responsibilities, such as attending to queries and answering phones
  • Processing new hires, terminations, and ad hoc changes
  • Processing Workers Compensation and Income Protection Payments
  • Liaising with HR Business Partners and key stakeholders on a daily basis
  • Assisting with month end requirements

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Familiarity in using SAP SuccessFactors highly regarded
  • Kronos experience would be highly regarded
  • 3 years’ experience working within the payroll function
  • Experience processing large volume payroll in a full function capacity
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise.
  • Outstanding drive, energy and the readiness to take on challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues adhering to company values
  • Strong oral and writing communication skills and with a diverse range of stakeholders, from executives to users
