This Assistant Branch Manager role supports the day‑to‑day performance of the Coates Murrin Murrin branch. Working onsite on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth, you’ll partner with the Branch Manager to drive safe operations, strong customer service and commercial results.
What you’ll do
- Support the daily operation of the Murrin Murrin branch on an 8/6 FIFO roste
- Deliver and role‑model exceptional customer service on site
- Drive branch performance across revenue, hire rates, fleet utilisation and customer loyalty
- Support safe and efficient branch operations, reinforcing a strong Zero Harm culture
- Deliver best‑fit customer solutions including quotes, purchase orders and hire agreements
- Maximise fleet availability, asset management and equipment quality
- Support branch KPIs, reporting and performance monitoring
- Coach, support and develop team members
- Step into the Branch Manager role when required

What you’ll bring to the role
- Experience in sales, operations or branch management within equipment hire, mining or related industries
- Demonstrated people leadership capability and a strong team mindset
- A genuine commitment to customer service excellence and safety
- Understanding of performance metrics and experience supporting targets and results
- Confidence working with contractors, suppliers and internal teams
- Strong communication, organisation and computer skills (CRM systems and Microsoft Office)
- Ability to work FIFO on an 8/6 roster at a remote site
