• Attractive hourly rates + penalty rates on overtime
• Permanent full-time position
• Monday to Friday roster, 7am start

The position of Yardperson at Coates Kingston is a key support role, responsible for the maintenance of the Branch yard area and ensuring the safe loading and unloading of equipment.

As well as providing a high level of customer service, you will also be responsible for:

• Loading and unloading equipment from vehicles using safe manual handling and forklift procedures (forklift licence required).
• Performing general yard duties, including the cleaning and preparation of portable assets, including portable toilets, to ensure they are ready for hire.
• Assisting with the staging and movement of equipment and buildings within the yard.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised yard and facilities.
• Promoting a Safety First culture by following procedures and actively looking out for the safety of colleagues and customers.

What you’ll bring to the role

As well as having experience in a similar role, you will also have the following:

• A current forklift & driver’s license (essential)
• Experience loading and unloading equipment safely and efficiently (essential)
• Experience working with portable buildings or portable assets (highly advantageous but not essential)
• A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to assist with general yard duties, including cleaning and preparation of equipment
• A strong knowledge of; and commitment to safety
