Reporting to the Executive General Manager – North, this is a high-impact, autonomous role where you’ll take full ownership of multiple branches and maintenance operations. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping strategy, leading teams, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring operational excellence across the region.
What you’ll do
This is a role where no two days are the same — balancing leadership, strategy, and hands-on operational oversight. You will:
- Lead with safety first by setting the standard, inspiring your teams, and embedding a culture of care and accountability.
- Inspire and engage your people by building strong, motivated teams who are proud of what they deliver and aligned to a common purpose.
- Champion our customers by ensuring every interaction delivers a differentiated, seamless experience that puts the customer at the centre.
- Drive performance and growth through overseeing branch operations, optimising utilisation and fleet performance, and delivering on revenue and profitability goals.
- Collaborate for success by working closely with sales, service, fleet, transport, and maintenance teams to deliver end-to-end operational excellence.
- Optimise asset performance by leading strategies that improve efficiency, maximise fleet utilisation, and deliver benchmark R&M performance.
- Shape the future by influencing business strategy, identifying opportunities for innovation, and driving continuous improvement across the region.
What you’ll bring to the role
You’re an experienced people leader with strong commercial instincts, a customer-first mindset, and a genuine passion for building teams that thrive. You lead with energy, accountability and authenticity — and you know how to get results.
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience leading multi-site or regional operations in hire, industrial, construction or logistics environment
- A track record of inspiring and developing teams to achieve exceptional safety, service and financial outcomes
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate strategy into action
- Analytical thinking and sound decision-making under pressure
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills — you build trust and influence at all levels
- A commitment to collaboration and customer excellence
