We're looking for an experienced and customer-focused Operations Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month parental leave contract. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for delivering outstanding service while coordinating equipment, logistics and operational activities.
You'll enjoy variety in your role including:
- Coordinating end-to-end mobilisation of shutdown crews, including onboarding, approvals and site compliance
- Managing medicals, training, inductions and compliance documentation to ensure workforce readiness
- Coordinating travel, accommodation, transport and site access requirements
- Scheduling and coordinating hire equipment, logistics and customer requirements
- Providing exceptional customer service and advice on equipment solutions
- Raising and managing purchase orders, invoices, timesheets and related administration
- Maintaining workforce and operational data, reporting and compliance records
- Supporting contract delivery through document control and administrative coordination
- Assisting with equipment servicing schedules, audits and HSEQ requirements
- Building strong customer relationships while maintaining a Safety First culture at all times.

What you’ll bring to the role
- Experience within the equipment hire, construction, industrial or related industry
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to coordinate equipment, logistics and operational activities in a busy environment
- Sound administrative and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Hands-on knowledge of small plant equipment and general mechanical aptitude
- An understanding of major construction projects and site requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively with customers, contractors and internal teams
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
- Commitment to safety and compliance in everything you do
