Based at our Kalgoorlie Portables branch, you will lead a team, set the standard for safety and service and take accountability for operational and branch performance.

 

You will enjoy a variety in your role including:

  • Leading and promoting a strong safety culture for your team, contractors and Coates customers
  • Managing day-to-day branch operations, including Transport and Yard teams
  • Overseeing asset management, ensuring fleet availability, condition and utilisation targets are met
  • Partnering with customers to develop fit-for-purpose solutions, preparing quotes, raising purchase orders and managing hire agreements
  • Owning branch P&L performance and key KPIs, including fleet utilisation, cost control and customer loyalty

What you’ll bring to the role

 

  • Experience running operations in an asset‑based, industrial or mining environment (portables or facility experience highly regarded)
  • Sales and operational leadership with responsibility for branch results
  • Team leadership experience, including day‑to‑day supervision and development
  • Experience meeting customer service and operational KPIs
  • Commercial experience managing budgets, costs and asset utilisation
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong computer literacy, including customer databases and Microsoft Office Suite
