Title: Project Supervisor - Installations

The hybrid role is responsible for the operational delivery and compliance of Pumps & Fluid Management projects, including Water Treatment, Dewatering and Bypass Systems.
The Project Supervisor will contribute across high‑profile projects, drawing on strong construction knowledge and hands‑on site experience to plan, deliver and oversee the installation of specialist Pumps and Fluid Management systems. This role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality delivery by working closely with customers and leading installation activities on site. The Project Supervisor collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to deliver solutions, oversee installation and commissioning, and ensure that ongoing maintenance plans are implemented effectively.
You’ll enjoy variety in your role including:
- Working collaboratively with a specialist team of project managers, engineers, designers, sales and operational personnel to deliver turnkey equipment and service solutions that meet customers’ temporary works requirements.
- Acting as the Coates representative on site, taking responsibility for the hands‑on delivery of client solutions, delegating tasks, ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld, and monitoring productivity.
- Overseeing the coordination and installation of our specialised product range across customer sites.
- Leading pre‑start and toolbox meetings to ensure clear communication and safe work practices.
- Managing site conditions, delays, customer expectations and any variances from the original scope or quote.
- Championing a Safety‑First culture and ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and standards.
- Building, developing and guiding an efficient and effective installation team.
- Working closely with Coates branches to organise plant, equipment and resourcing to support project delivery.
- Attending site meetings and liaising with stakeholders to ensure effective design, logistics, installation and maintenance of Water Treatment, Dewatering and Bypass systems.

What you’ll bring to the role
- Strong construction site experience, with a focus on Water Treatment & dewatering; you will have prepared and managed risk assessments and safe work method statements
- Experience building relationships with customers and sub-contractors
- Experience in managing a team, delegating tasks and personnel supervision to meet project timelines.
- Good planning and team leadership skills with the ability to work autonomously and the possession of excellent problem-solving skills.
- Trade qualifications or equivalent experience
- High Risk Work licence, HR Truck Licence will be highly regarded
