Title: Plant Mechanic - Relief
Here’s how you’ll be part of our team
Based at the Coates Eagle Farm branch, you’ll play a key role in keeping our fleet of hire equipment in prime condition and ready for the next customer. This role also includes a relief component, where you’ll support metro branches when required — providing variety, exposure to different teams, and the opportunity to broaden your experience across our network.
Your typical day will focus on:
- Performing preventative maintenance, servicing and overhaul of a range of plant equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
- Maintaining accurate records for all service and repair work
- Minimising operational downtime and ensuring equipment reliability
- Providing relief support to metro branches as required to assist with operational demand

What you’ll bring to the role
- Relevant Trade qualifications
- Experience with petrol and diesel motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical skills
- Drivers licence (preferably MR or HR)
- Forklift and EWP tickets (beneficial)
- Troubleshooting, diagnostic and preventative maintenance skills
