As the Team Leader - Allocations at our Melbourne Customer Support Centre you will work in partnership with Hub Managers and Fleet team to lead day-to-day branch operations and develop a team to deliver outstanding customer service, driving revenue, fleet utilisation, customer satisfaction, and key performance results.
You’ll enjoy variety in your role including:
- Lead and motivate Sales Coordinators to deliver exceptional service
- Promote a strong Safety First culture
- Oversee daily operations, including pre-start meetings, compliance, stocktakes, and quality control
- Train and coach staff in customer service, products, and processes
- Prepare quotes, hire agreements, purchase orders, and manage branch administration
- Coordinate equipment sourcing, deliveries, transfers, pick-ups, changeovers, and breakdowns
- Work collaboratively across the network to optimise asset management
- Provide hands-on support to keep branch operations running smoothly

What you’ll bring to the role
This is a senior role so you will have 5+ years in customer facing work experience, as well as:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and sound judgement
- Experience leading or supporting a team
- A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Confidence using business systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- The ability to manage deadlines, compliance requirements, and operational demands
- A proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement
Trade or hire industry experience will be highly regarded.
