Based in Dandenong and reporting to the Sales Manager – Markets, you will manage a portfolio of Tier 1 Civil Infrastructure clients across Victoria, Tasmania, and South Australia.
This is a senior, relationship-driven role, with a strong focus on developing trusted partnerships at both site and head-office level.
You will work closely with senior site personnel, project teams and internal solutions specialists to deliver tailored outcomes that create value for customers and drive growth for Coates.

You will enjoy a variety in your role including:

  • Acting as the senior point of contact for key accounts, building trust and strengthening long-term partnerships.
  • Navigating complex customer organisations to increase awareness of Coates’ full capability and support strategic, value-led conversations.
  • Leading and coordinating large-scale tenders and complex quotations, drawing on internal expertise to deliver strong commercial outcomes.
  • Identifying growth opportunities across multi-site customer portfolios and engaging new customers as projects emerge.
  • Travelling as required to maintain a strong on-site presence and stay connected to operational activity.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Experience in strategic sales in construction, manufacturing, government or related industries.
  • Ability to interpret financial and operational data to build informed account plans and make sound commercial decisions.
  • The ability to remain organised and effective in high activity environments balancing administrative and customer facing requirements.
  • Experience in tendering, contract management and using data to inform strategic account planning.
  • Proactive and relationship-focused mindset, with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
