As the first point of contact for customers at our Dandenong branch, your number one goal will be to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service with their equipment solutions.
You’ll enjoy variety in your role including:
- Addressing customer needs in person, by phone and email
- Generating hire schedules, quotes, and invoicing
- Coordinating equipment deliveries, transfers, pick-ups, repairs, breakdowns, portable toilet pump runs
- You may also occasionally need to assist customers and colleagues in the yard with loading equipment
- Liaising with suppliers to support our customers
- Ensuring the safety of your team and Coates customers

What you’ll bring to the role
- Practical problem-solving skills
- Ability to support and mentor team members
- Retail sales or customer service experience
- Enjoy helping customers both in person and over the phone
- A desire to provide amazing customer experience
- General computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Forklift license will be highly regarded
- Trade, or previous hire industry experience, will be highly regarded
