- Monday to Friday roster, some calls outs required
Based in Brisbane Metro, this is a great opportunity for a hands-on Field Service Electrician who enjoys variety, autonomy and working across well-equipped Coates sites, with some customer visits as required. You’ll service and maintain a broad range of electrical plant and equipment, supporting reliable operations and minimising downtime.
You’ll play a key role in keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently, responding to breakdowns, troubleshooting issues and delivering the high service standards Coates is known for.
What you’ll be doing
- Service, repair and calibrate electrical plant and equipment across Coates sites, with some customer site visits
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, including work on complex environments such as tunnel projects
- Respond to breakdowns efficiently and keep stakeholders informed
- Maintain accurate electronic service records, job documentation and parts stock
- Lead by example in Coates’ Safety First – Zero Harm culture
What you’ll bring
- Electrical trade qualification and current QLD electrical licence
- Strong fault-finding, repair and preventative maintenance skills
- A genuine commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Confidence working independently in a field-based role
- Power generation or equipment hire experience (ideal, not essential)
- Intermediate computer skills and clear communication skills
- Current QLD Driver’s Licence
