- Attractive hourly rates + Penalty rates on overtime
- Permanent full-time position
- Monday to Friday roster, 7am start
As a Coates Trades Assistant at our Brooklyn Portables branch you will be responsible for the safe, effective and efficient maintenance, service and repair of our extensive range of hire equipment in our Portable Buildings Branch
Your responsibilities will include:
- Demonstrate a safety first attitude
- Undertake maintenance and repair of our Portable Buildings, Toilets and Containers
- Manage the maintenance and repair schedule of our site accommodation assets
- Maintain service records
- Demonstrate clear and open communication with the team and management
- Complete fleet inspections via mobile device

What you’ll bring to the role
- Carpentry trade or relevant building/construction experience is essential
- Current driver’s license
- Forklift and EWP license is desirable
- Effective time management and attention to detail
- Troubleshooting, diagnostic and preventative maintenance skills
- Sound computer skills
- Current White Card
- Plumbing knowledge is desirable
