The Major Project Manager is a pivotal role being the main point of contact for our Major mining customers. This position in our sales team is responsible for the strategic management of a portfolio of large-scale construction, mining infrastructure projects. 

You’ll enjoy variety in your role including:
•    Developing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers as they work to complete large scale construction, civil, mining, infrastructure projects. 
•    Work as the Project Manager and contact for both the primary contractor and all subcontractors involved on a project.
•    Analyse, review and negotiate pricing structures in conjunction with internal stakeholders.
•    Lead and promote Coates Hire’s Safety First - Zero Harm safety culture.

What you’ll bring to the role
•    Proven experience gained in a similar position, within equipment sales, plant hire, mining industries will be highly regarded. 
•    A proven track record of developing long term mutually beneficial commercial relationships. 
•    Demonstrated commercial accountability and multiple account ownership expertise.
•    Ability to deliver high level Customer Relationship Management that promotes service excellence 
•    Highly experienced in developing strong positive relationships
•    Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
•    A current Car drivers Licence
•    Travel across the region will be required from time to time
