The Yardperson position at Coates Belmont is a key operational role in a high‑traffic yard environment focused on maintaining safe, organised and efficient operations.
As well as providing a high level of customer service, you will also:
- Organise and maintain yard layout, workflow and cleanliness
- Support general equipment movements
- Always demonstrate safe work practices
- Communicate effectively with customers, drivers and transport contractors
- Identify equipment or items that require attention or repair
- Prioritise tasks, manage competing demands and take initiative
- Contribute to a supportive and high‑performing team

What you’ll bring to the role
As well as experience in a similar environment, you will have:
- Current Forklift Licence
- EWP Licence (desirable)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Experience working around mobile equipment
- Exposure to civil, mining or industrial environments (desirable)
- Experience loading and unloading equipment
- Strong knowledge of load restraint practices
- A proactive approach to workplace health and safety
