Title:  Yard Coordinator

Here's how you'll be a part of our team

As a Yard Cordinator Coates Belmont  you will own the day-to-day presentation, organisation and flow of equipment throughout the yard, ensuring a safe, efficient and customer-ready operation. This is key operational role in a high-traffic yard environment focused on maintaining safe, organised and efficient operations working Monday to Friday. 

As well as providing a high level of customer service, you will also:

• Organise and maintain yard layout, workflow and cleanliness
• Support the safe movement, loading and unloading of equipment
• Ensure equipment is presented, stored and prepared to company standards
• Demonstrate safe work practices while working around equipment, vehicles and transport movements
• Communicate effectively with customers, drivers and transport contractors
• Identify equipment or items that require attention or repair
• Prioritise tasks, manage competing demands and take initiative
• Contribute to a supportive and high-performing team

What you'll bring to the role

As well as experience in a similar environment, you will have:

• Current Forklift Licence
• EWP Licence
• Valid driver's licence
• Experience working around mobile equipment
• Exposure to civil, mining or industrial environments
• Experience loading and unloading equipment
• Strong knowledge of load restraint practices
• A proactive approach to workplace health and safety
• The ability to work safely and effectively in a busy operational environment
• A genuine interest in building a stable, long-term career with Coates
