Here’s how you’ll be a part of our team 

As a casual Coates Toolstore Controller, you will be responsible for the preparation of Coates mobile onsite tool-stores, ensuring the availability and supply of tool-store contents for our clients needs while on hire.

 

  • You’ll need to be able to work remotely as required at sites in WA and NT, this could involve working away from home for a period of time
  • Between assignments on site, you will be based at Coates Belmont branch.
  • Travel, accommodation, and meals will be provided, along with an uplift allowance while you are onsite. Shifts while onsite are from 10-12hrs, with overtime penalties paid after 7.6hrs.

 

Your typical day will focus on:

  • Manage, source and plan tooling and consumables to meet customer demands 
  • Assist with opportunities to maximise equipment utilisation
  • Ensure tooling & equipment is in good working order ready for hire
  • Manage the dispatch and retrieval of tooling and equipment
  • Conduct stock takes and record inventory data electronically, report as required.

What you’ll bring to the role

As well as having exceptional customer service skills and a can-do, flexible attitude, you will have:

 

  • Remote mine site experience is desirable but not essential
  • Store person/Hardware store experience desirable but not essential
  • Familiarisation with Take 5’s and JSEA’s
  • Current drivers & forklift high risk licence
  • Ability to obtain a medical clearance (paid for by Coates)
  • Intermediate computer skills, time management & organisational skills
