The Product Sales Specialist – Shutdowns plays a key role in driving revenue growth by increasing share of wallet from existing customers and identifying new business opportunities for industrial solutions products and services. This position supports the organisation’s strategic growth plans, contributing to the development of new markets and the introduction of innovative products both within the Business Unit and on a national level.
You’ll enjoy variety in your role including:
- Champion and lead Coates’ uncompromising Safety-First culture across all activities and customer interactions.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities, developing full project scopes, and supporting delivery from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure safe, timely, and efficient delivery of products and services.
- Provide training and support to sales and operational teams to enhance product knowledge and utilisation.
- Monitor market trends and customer needs to develop innovative solutions, contribute to tenders, and ensure accurate contract delivery and reporting.
- Full training, ongoing support, and strong investment in your product knowledge to set you up for long-term success

- Ability to recognise buying signals and close deals

- Demonstrated sales and negotiation skills, including managing multiple scopes of work
- An ambitious, proactive mindset to contribute to a high-performing team
- Industry experience is desirable but not essential
