As a Power Solutions Consultant at Coates, you'll become a trusted advisor to customers across mining, utilities and industrial sectors. Working closely with customers, operations and engineering teams, you'll identify challenges, develop practical temporary power solutions and help deliver successful project outcomes.
Combining technical expertise with a consultative approach, you'll build long-term relationships and provide solutions that create value for customers while supporting the continued growth of the Coates Power Solutions business.

What you'll be doing
- Build strong relationships with customers across mining, utilities and industrial sectors.
- Understand customer challenges and develop practical temporary power solutions.
- Scope and recommend generator, electrical distribution and hybrid power solutions.
- Work closely with Account Managers, Engineering and Operations teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
- Prepare proposals, quotations and presentations to support business growth.
- Provide market insights and technical advice to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Travel throughout WA to meet customers and conduct site inspections.
What you'll bring
- Electrical trade or engineering background within power generation, distribution or industrial electrical environments.
- Experience building relationships with customers and operational teams across mining, utilities, industrial or energy sectors.
- Knowledge of generators, temporary power and/or hybrid power solutions.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and recommend practical solutions.
- Commercial awareness, a can-do attitude and willingness to travel throughout WA.
