  • Permanent, full-time position, Monday - Friday

 

The Field Service Manager is responsible for managing a team of Field Service Mechanics within a designated service area and ensuring all breakdowns reported on customer sites are responded to and dealt with promptly and safety.   The Field Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the team of Field Service Mechanics are skilled to provide exceptional customer service during all customer callouts and that they complete all work on customer sites in line with safety, legal and quality budgetary protocols.

You’ll enjoy variety in your role including:

  • Ensure the team of Field Service Mechanics complete services and repairs on customer sites in line with safety, legal and quality budgetary protocols.
  • Ensure the team delivers exceptional customer service and is capable in fault finding technical/mechanical equipment quickly, providing solid solutions and effectively liaising with the customer during a potentially difficult or frustrating time.
  • Be available and respond promptly to Field Service Mechanics, customer complaints and/or advice regarding equipment breakdowns on customer sites.
  • Identify training needs of the team and create development plans for each individual.
  • Promote and encourage transfer of knowledge and ideas between the service team staff to ensure maximum product knowledge.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Trade qualified in a related discipline.
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Experience within a field service environment
  • Extensive experience in a similar leadership role managing employees servicing equipment.
  • Proven ability to self-manage time and workload according to deadline.
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
