Based out of our Albert Park branch, with regular travel across the region, you’ll report directly to the Regional Sales Manager. In this role, you’ll strategically manage a prioritised portfolio of top-tier accounts with active or future projects, deepen senior customer relationships, and drive growth through strategic involvement in South Australia’s booming infrastructure landscape.

 

In this role, you will

 

  • Strategically manage a prioritised portfolio of top-tier accounts with active or future projects
  • Develop and implement account strategies that support growth in both sales and profit across selected customers, their projects and allied subcontractors
  • Identify and capitalise on opportunities to expand the range of Coates products and services by site and customer, including cross-selling opportunities
  • Maintain strong sales discipline by managing customer interactions, key contact information and account activity within the CRM
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure service delivery, share market intelligence and identify long-term hire opportunities

 

What you’ll bring to the role

 

  • High-level experience in sales and account management, ideally managing major or strategic accounts within construction, civil, mining or similar sectors
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across customer and internal stakeholder groups
  • Commercial acumen, with the ability to make sound and profitable decisions
  • Strong planning, time management and prioritisation skills
  • A solutions-focused negotiation style and the ability to identify growth opportunities within key accounts
